Most of us aren’t in danger of RUINING OUR LIVES… we’re in danger of WASTING THEM!
I wonder today… How many of you reading this blog might feel as if the life you’ve apparently ‘settled’ for… isn’t quite what you expected or signed up for? Well… What if I told you that God has/is calling you to do GREATER things WITH HIM than you ever expected? The problem is… for many of us… there seems to be just too wide of a gap between what God Says in His Word and the Results we are Seeing In Our Lives! It’s almost as if we’ve been lulled into ‘Comfortable Complacency!?’ And though baseline living is okay… it’s NOT okay for a Believer in Jesus! There’s actually a PRICE to PAY for what’s known as Christian Complacency! The Fact is… We are so much BETTER than what we’ve become… because God is so much GREATER than we’re allowing Him to be in/through us! We’re gonna show you HOW to move towards Greater Faith in your life over the next four weeks here at COC as we look at the Life of ELISHA… an Ordinary guy who did Extraordinary things… all because he was willing to live a RiDiCuLoUs Faith! Don’t Miss It!


Sunday Snapshot… (Wk1) Ridiculous Commitment
ELISHA was just an ORDINARY Man who did EXTRAORDINARY Things!

Those who are FAITHFUL with LITTLE... God can TRUST with MUCH!

RiDiCuLoUs COMMITMENT...

Principle #1 -You don't have to UNDERSTAND FULLY... to OBEY IMMEDIATELY!

-God is usually 'Strategically Vague' when it comes to DETAILS!

Principle #2 - KILL THE COWS and BURN THE PLOWS!

-Stop prequalifying your OBEDIENCE... and just TAKE THE NEXT STEP!

You'll never be able to step into your NEW LIFE... until you SET FIRE to whatever it is that's TETHERING you to your OLD LIFE!

While you're Counting The Cost to Killing Cows and Burning Plows... it's equally important for you to Count The Cost for NOT… Killing Cows and Burning Plows!

The COST for FOLLOWING JESUS is GREAT... (Buuuuut…) The COST of NOT FOLLOWING HIM is EVEN GREATER!

Those that God USES the MOST... are those who HOLD ONTO the LEAST!

Well did you know that the most significant things that have ever happened in the history of the world have been the result of someone investing their entire life in the work of Jesus? The lost get found…the hungry get fed… those who hurt - find healing… broken families get put back together… and communities are transformed! The results are amazing for those who dare to JUMP… ALL IN! Sunday Snapshot… (Wk2) Because Of Your Serving

God doesn’t CALL the EQUIPPED... He EQUIPS the CALLED!

If you are NOT Serving Others and Using the Gifts that God has given YOU… YOU are MISSING OUT on GOD’S BEST for YOU!

Jesus said… “I didn’t come to be SERVED - but to SERVE” That means it is IMPOSSIBLE to call ourselves ‘Followers of Jesus’ and NOT be a SERVANT!

As a Follower of Christ… You can never reach the Full Potential of everything that God Created You To Be… SEPARATED from the Body of Christ!

In the Body of Christ… It isn’t a HE or a SHE that gets the credit… It’s WE that gets the credit!

YOU ARE IRREPLACABLE… No one else can do what YOU would do - just the way that YOU were created to do it!

God didn’t create YOU to SERVE YOURSELF… He created YOU to SERVE OTHERS!
