CELEBRATORS…

If we were to take a minute and compare our UNFILTERED Lives to a World that always seems to be CROPPED and EDITED… where EVERYTHING seems or appears to be PERFECT… it can often leave us with thoughts of MISERY… and FRUSTRATION… and CONFUSION! There just seems to be this ongoing STRUGGLE today to KNOW or to FIND OUT… WHO WE REALLY ARE… in the WORLD… and then to try and balance THAT… without compromising WHO WE ARE… in CHRIST! So what I’ve been hoping and praying for in this Series… #DeathToSelfie… is that EACH OF US can genuinely discover… that in finding our REAL IDENTITY… IN CHRIST… we can actually SAVE OURSELF from the Greatest Obstacle that appears to be standing in our way… YOU! Hope to see you this coming Sunday as we start this EXCITING NEW SERIES!

How can we ever have a "GOD FIRST" Focus in a "ME FIRST" World?

 

Don't ever fall for the LIE that only PERFECT PEOPLE get to play a part in GOD'S PURPOSE! (He turns MESSES into MIRACLES all the time!)

 

Luke 9:25… What good is it for someone to GAIN the whole world… yet LOSE or FORFEIT their very SELF (Soul)? (Note to SELF… "ME FIRST" is MISERABLE!)

 

Did you know it's possible to GET what you WANT… but then NOT WANT… what you GOT! (Especially if you GOT IT the WRONG WAY!)

 

Sometimes it takes you actually getting all that STUFF… to finally realize that the STUFF you really WANTED… is not really what you NEEDED! (Maybe it’s time to stop learning the hard way!)

 

You will finally find YOUR "SELF"… when you are willing to HOLD ON TO GOD… when it would probably be easier to JUST LET GO!

 

"JUST CALL ME JACOB…"

-JACOB… was WHO HE WAS!

-ISRAEL… was WHO 'GOD IN HIM' WAS!

-IN CHRIST… WE RECEIVE A NEW IDENTITY!

CELEBRATORS…

EVERYTHING… (Everything!) That we BELIEVE… HINGES on what happened with JESUS CHRIST some 2000+ years ago! It’s not based on what so many other Religions are based on… not on some Teacher… not on some Philosophy… not on some Teaching… the ENTIRE CHRISTIAN FAITH… HINGES… on ONE SINGLE EVENT… THE RESURRECTION! And because JESUS (LITERALLY!) ROSE FROM THE DEAD… it verified and validated EVERYTHING that He ever said… and EVERYTHING that He claimed to be! And that’s why EASTER is such a BIG DEAL for those who call themselves CHRISTIANS! So PLEASE… Do whatever it takes to WORSHIP that FACT with us this “Resurrection Weekend” at COC (9a/11a) – and do whatever it takes to BRING SOMEONE with you… it could be their ETERNAL-CHANGING Moment!

The One Question we ALL want Answered… HOW DO WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE A RIGHT-STANDING WITH GOD? Jesus' Answer… YOU MUST BE BORN-AGAIN! (John 3:3)

 

God is not looking at what we are DO-ING… or how we are BE-HAVING… He looks only at One Thing… WHO IS IT THAT WE ARE BE-LIEVING!

 

John 3:15… …that EVERYONE (ANYONE) who BELIEVES (FAITH) IN HIM… may have ETERNAL LIFE! (Salvation comes only through JESUS!)

 

Isaiah 53:5-6 -- You enter into the Kingdom of God - not through Good Behavior - but through FAITH IN JESUS - whom God sent for YOU!

 

Matthew 28:6… "He (Jesus) is not here… HE IS RISEN… just as He said!"

-That's our HOPE!

-That's our FAITH!

-That's what EASTER is all about!

 

Jesus really DIED… and He really ROSE AGAIN! -- Our entire FAITH is built on that FACT! DO YOU BELIEVE IT? If you do…then DO SOMETHING with it!
