Bloodied… Beaten… and NAILED to a CROSS - a Dying Jesus looked at those around Him and spoke His Final Words as a Man! I think you will find some Powerful Truths in those Last Words that Jesus Spoke! (So…) We’re gonna take the next several weeks and look a little closer at a few of Jesus’ Last Phrases to see the IMPACT they can have on our lives today! Sunday Snapshot… (2) Father FORGIVE Them…

Luke 23:34… FATHER FORGIVE THEM... for they know not what they are doing.

FORGIVENESS MATTERS TO GOD! The HEALING OF THE HEART involves the HEALING OF THE PAST!

God often gives us MORE than we REQUEST by going DEEPER than we ASK! (Because...) He not only wants your WHOLE HEART… He wants your HEART WHOLE!

REVEALING… IS WHAT LEADS TO HEALING!

FORGIVENESS doesn't DIMINISH JUSTICE… it just ENTRUSTS IT to GOD!

FORGIVENESS is the CENTRAL FOCUS of THE CROSS… and JESUS SPOKE FORGIVENESS to the very end when He said "FATHER FORGIVE THEM..."

Sunday Snapshot… (1) WHY Have You Forsaken Me?

Matthew 27:45-46… From the sixth hour until the ninth hour DARKNESS came over all of the land. About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice. "Eloi, Eloi, Lama Sabachthani?" "My God, My God, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"

It's really easy to TRUST GOD in the LIGHT… but it's really difficult to TRUST GOD in the DARK!

Isaiah 55:8-9… For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

A few things to remember in your WHY GOD Moments...

1. GOD IS GOOD! (Mark 10:18)

2. GOD IS FOR ME! (Romans 8:31)

3. GOD IS WITH ME! (Hebrews 13:5)
