Life is Full of Battles... and often times - those Battles are just trying to block your Progress! (So…) We started a New Series a couple weeks ago here at COC talking a little bit abouthow to handle those challenges in life through the Power of God… that we’ve called IN THE FIRE! We’ve been attempting to show you a few Biblical Approaches on how you can face those Defining Moments in Life that are often Tough/Difficult and sometimes feel Overwhelming! We hope you’ll take time to visit us for the Last Week of IN THE FIRE!

 

 

Sunday Snapshot… (3) A PROBLEM CALLED PRAISE!

 

Psalm 34:1a… “I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES!” -- That's not a suggestion!

 

PRAISE CAN BE A PROBLEM FOR YOUR PROBLEM!

 

In order to OVERCOME the FIRES in your life... you need to allow your PRAISE TO OVERCOME YOUR PREFERENCE!

 

PRAISE isn't about PROFESSIONAL... it's about DESPERATION!

 

WE PRAISE GOD... NOT because HE HAS FORGOTTEN WHO HE IS but rather that WE DON'T FORGET WHO HE IS!

 

Ephesians 3:20… Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or IMAGINE according to His power that is at work within us... (You never know what God's Gonna Do IN YOUR FIRE!)

Sunday Snapshot… (2) I WAS BORN FOR THIS!

 

The Best Reward in Life is NOT having a LIFE that’s FREE from CONTROVERSY and PROBLEMS… (But Actually…) in learning how to GET THROUGH IT!

 

James 1:2-3… Consider it PURE JOY my brothers and sisters whenever you FACE TRIALS of many kinds - because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

 

James 1:12... Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because - having stood the test -that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

 

If there’s an ABSENCE OF ADVERSITY in your life… there might also be an ABSENCE OF PROGRESS?!

 

Jesus never promises an absence of problems for you and your life… but He does promise that HE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU “IN” YOUR PROBLEMS!

 

Jesus said… “Take Heart! I have OVERCOME the world!” That should give you all the confidence you need to face anything you might face in life! (Because...) YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS!
