SUNDAY SNAPSHOT (ELIJAH - 1)

When the world around us seems to be spinning out of control... Where do we turn? What's the best way to respond? (Or better yet...) HOW DO WE DO IT RIGHT? (Well…) There just so happens to be an OT Prophet named ELIJAH - who lived in some pretty Perilous Times like we may feel we are living in today! ELIJAH is best remembered for his Bold Dealings with some pretty Wicked Rulers and False Prophets in his day and age! (However…) He’s also known for the fact that he often dealt with many of those PROBLEMS much like the rest of us often do! Several times he failed to see God’s Hand as the ONE IN CONTROL! (None the less…) Unlike many of us… he still found a way to TRUST GOD even though he did not always UNDERSTAND GOD! I hope you'll take time these next few weeks as we try and learn a Lesson or Two from ELIJAH... lessons on HOW TO DEAL WITH THE TRIALS LIFE the Right Way!

Imagine being in THE WILDERNESS for FORTY YEARS… just WANDERING/WANDERING… you’ve been PROMISED a LAND… but things have kept you from exercising the type of FAITH that GOD has wanted from you – in order to GO/TAKE THE LAND!? (Can you imagine the Frustration? / Can you imagine the Anticipation? / Can you imagine the Excitement?) We’re heading into the Last Week of a Series where we’ve begun talking about a few things from THAT STORY in the OT and how closely connected it is to YOU/ME… (More than you’ll ever know!) Even more so with the POTENTIAL of COC Eventually being able to One Day… see to FRUITION what God has PROMISED us as a Body of Christ! We’re inviting YOU to go along this JOURNEY… to see WHERE God wants to USE YOU in accomplishing our MISSION here in Maricopa!

We MUST always believe God’s PROMISE… even when it seems ridiculous!

Is there a chance that your “BUT” is in the way of GOD MOVING in a BIG WAY?

When you fix your attention on the OBSTACLES rather than the OBJECTIVE… your FEAR will always eclipse your FAITH! (HIGHER LEVELS always mean BIGGER DEVILS!)

When you compare what you LACK to what others POSSESS… INTIMIDATION will always replace CONFIDENCE!

When you allow FEAR to take control of your SITUATION… your desire for RELIEF will always weaken your COURAGE!

Would you be willing to help us make YOUR STORY… SOMEONE ELSE'S STORY IN THE FUTURE!? (Are you gonna be one of the TWO or one of the TEN?)
