Sunday Snapshot… (2) THE CONTINUUM OF FORGIVENESS
Ephesians 4:27… ...and do not give the devil a foothold. (Satan Loves A Bitter Believer!)
BITTERNESS... It usually has LESS TO DO with the MAGNITUDE of the OFFENSE and MORE TO DO with the PROXIMITY of the OFFENDER!
If you're carrying around BITTERNESS in your heart towards someone... (Always Remember...) HURT PEOPLE - HURT PEOPLE!
If you don't choose FORGIVENESS… you’rechoosing BITTERNESS! (Those are the only two choices!)
The way you DIG UP THE ROOT OF BITTERNESS… is with the SHOVEL OF FORGIVENESS! (Ephesians 4:31a)
If you appreciate God's FORGIVENESS given to YOU - you should extend the same FORGIVENESS to anyone who has hurt you! (Forgiveness isn't always for the one who has hurt you - it's for YOU!)
